For all you trigger-happy photographers out there, this piece of news is sure to bring a smile to your faces. Olympus, known for its wide range of excellent cameras and visual accessories, recently announced its line of Micro Four Thirds cameras aimed at replacing the conventional DSLR cameras and the first model of the new OM-digital series has now been revealed for your viewing pleasure.

Features

1. The E-M5 comes equipped with a 16 megapixel MOS Four Thirds format sensor.

2. New ‘5-axis’ image stabilization.

3. Shoot stills at up to 9 frames per second.

4. Sports an 800 x 600 pixel LCD electronic viewfinder.

5. Fitted with the latest generation of Olympus’ TruePic VI processor.

6. Comes with improved C-AF autofocus with 30 tracking.

7. It also has of the first autofocus among interchangeable lens cameras.

8. Works pretty well in low light conditions; ISO runs from 200 to 25,600 and has a new technology called Intelligent High Sensitivity (HIS) which Olympus claims will let you shoot clearly even at 12,800 ISO.

9. It boasts 1.44 million dots and 1.5x magnification.
